Traditionally, the houseboat or Kettuvallam - is a boat made by tying together pieces of wood. Unbelievable as it may sound, not a single nail is used in the making of a traditional Kettuvallam. Today these giant 80-foot long crafts have been adapted into luxuriously furnished houseboats. Listed among the 50 must-see places in the world, the backwaters in Kerala are a network of exquisite channels, lakes, lagoons and deltas of approximately 44 rivers emptying into the Arabian Sea.

Day 01 : Alleppey

Embark the house boat at 12.00 hrs followed by a welcome drink, and cruise through Kerala’s largest lake Vembanad, crisscrossing rivers, paddy fields, coconut lagoons, narrow canals and coir villages, Kuttanad - Rice Bowl of Kerala, experience traditional fishing in close clusters.

Day 02 : Alleppey

In the morning have a good breakfast along with a wonderful sunrise cruise thereafter disembark the house boat at 9.30 Hrs.
